                            Hello

Hay guys! Now I've been looking all over the blooming internet looking for an answer to some technical difficulties I'm having with a certain game, but sadly I haven't found anything
Now, I have an old ps2 game called Dawn of Mana, a square enix game I bought a few days ago, and I was hoping to play it after looking at some reviews and gameplay vids
However, for some reason I just can't play it.
Whenever I put the CD in (which by the way is completely clean and without scratches), the PS2 logo shows up, but after that...nothing. I'm just left with this black screen of nothingness. So I decide to reset the PlayStation and hope that it just automatically plays it, but when I do that, it starts up as if there isn't any games in it.
I don't know what to do. I'm just thinking of getting a refund for what could have been very fun game. Any suggestions guys ?

if you're not using a ps2, it may be troublesome. the games wonderful, but if you bought it refurbished or online, they might use a clear polish which makes it look clean and nice, but the scratches can still effect the disk. my suggestion, take it to a video rental or game shop and see if they have disk repair. if that doesn't help, a refund may be your only option.
