FA changes UGGGGGGHHHHHWOW OKAY

So yeah, you guys have seen the changes to FA today. But have you seen them without an ad blocker turned on?

Like.. there's more ad than picture there. And I know most of us have ad blockers on and all, but some people don't. And I really don't want the efforts I put into my work cheapened by having them on a page that looks like.. well, that.
Especially not when there are far better options. I mean.. weasyl is a really great site, and its only real major downside that I've seen is that the community's super dead. But it wouldn't be, if more of us finally said fuck it to all this melodrama and now ad-vomit and made the switch. Every day that goes by, there's less and less legitimate reason NOT to.
So, yeah.. I'm gonna be taking some time to getting my weasyl set up and going. I'll post to both for a little while, but I really think at this point it doesn't make sense not to switch. I hope some of you guys consider it too, 'cause we could really have something great going over there if more of us took advantage of it.
I'll post more info and updates as they come!

I'll keep posting more to weasyl too, hope it becomes less dead there.
It really cheapens the efforts of the artist to have their work just shoved to one side to make room for an ad that's almost as big as the art itself. (Add the ad on top into the mix and it's more ad than art! X_x) Like.. it makes our work look tacky and cheap. I'm not okay with that.

although I don't have much there yet, I will soon.
I guess one of the things that's stopped people moving is also the fact that people don't want to go through the hard graft of building a new account, getting all those watchers etc.
What's your Weasyl account?

Hmm, I'd prefer not. FA staff can be a bit trigger happy with the banhammer when it come to dissent among the peasant masses.
