TMITuesday: Life events/choices I might change
10 years ago
First on the list will be really weird to say here, but if I went back and changed my 7th grade English curriculum so that we wouldn't be doing an assignment that required pictures of dragons, I strongly suspect that I would never have found anthro art and its communities online. Don't take this the wrong way--I love my friendships with you guys and the many good experiences I've had with art! But I can't help but wonder how my life would have played out without that motif woven through it.
Second, I'd give my younger self a primer in the purpose and variety of undergrad internships. And probably not gone to grad school.
Third--and this is one I hadn't pondered too much before--but I really wonder what it would have been like to have done my LDS mission *before* my freshman year of college instead of after. That really broke my sense of camaraderie in ways I could never fully regain.
