April Foolish + Babyfur RPG discussion
Oops I quite nearly forgot to submit my journal for this month!
I don't really have much to say as thing have been relatively quiet and I've not had an opportunity to review any new candies or other snacks for my Kaffre Candy feature.
Fortunately, the playtest that put my Babyfur RPG on hiatus has been completed, leaving me free to work on that game once more. As mentioned in my previous journal, my own work suggests we may need to revise the combat system so that Skill factors into Defence (which will also necessitate more definition of said Skills). I suspect we may also have to modify the margins of the different wound categories - Both Deadlands and Ars Magica use an effective size of '3' to babyfur sized creatures, but the majority of characters are 6 and 5 respectively and I fear the current margin may make the characters too vulnerable to damage.
I also feel we may need to add some additional stats to the character blocks. Most notably Perception/Alertness and Energy/Vigor. I'm currently thinking of ways to try and integrate the 'Job' system of the type Yosh-E suggests, but am unsure yet how to proceed.
In addition to commentary on the above, I'd also like to ask everyone to consider submitting example characters for consideration (I want to see what sort of Skills and Gifts/Faults need to be included).
Well, I guess that's it for this month, I promise to try and be more punctual in May! Now everyfur lineup for your complementary post-journal hugs!

When Time Out is played, the attacking player's turn ends.
"You've been naughty! Go to Time Out and think about what you did!"
Random Diaper Check
When this card is played, flip a coin. If it's tails, remove all counters from target's diaper armor, and the turn ends.
"Hold still, Mr. Stinky!"
