Also what do you mean by: requests may not contain their own original characters and can only be a sketch or a lined drawing if I'm feeling generous

it means: people who ask for free art requests (who are not close buddies of mine) may not have their sonas or any of their own characters within it, it can only be on a suggested topic like: "Mileena from Mortal Kombat eating ice cream" that sort of thing
I might make an exception if i like the character they have for the request
