Well tomorrow is the big day. Today we head off to get the rental truck and start the loading of it.
It is the end of an era. Since 2001 I have lived in this apartment that I am in now, which is next door to the house I lived in from age 4. I have only ever known living on this street. I know everything about it and just about everyone on it. I have walked the same routes day in and day out and know ever nook and cranny of the area. But it is time for a change.
A change that will work out better for us. We are moving from the 2 bedroom that everyone knows us from to a nice big house with 3 bedrooms, an entire rec room, 2 studio spaces in the basement and finally, the best thing in the world for me a garage so the BMW can finally come home to me.

Familliar and I get the keys today at 8pm from the landlord who lives just across the street from the new house and on Friday our stuff goes in.
Of course I will end up taking lots and lots of pictures of the place as it is set up and things get moved in.
It is making me very nervous and excited. To have more space.. and no more storage locker full of cool stuff that will never fit in the apartment.. Or friends garage to store my car in, having it close by so I can fix it and tend to it and maybe just maybe get it back on the road...
It is scary... but I need this.. We need this.
I will be offline for the next few days till we get unpacked and internet gets connected.
