BLFC Panel questions!
As I said before, I'm doing a panel at BLFC: "A Bear's Guide to Getting Into the Game Industry".
Are there any topics you all would want to see covered? My slides are going to be pretty barebones (because I'm SO not an artist), and I have a bunch of topics I want to hit, but I could always use more feedback.
So far, it's:
What positions are available, and what they do
Indie vs AAA
Networking, Social Media and Social Issues
School vs No School
Any others?

Budgeting your project. People don't realize that games cost money to make sometimes.

OP
I can touch on that during the "indie" discussion, but "how to fund your game" is definitely outside my realm of expertise. If I could fund my own game, I'd probably be working solo now. ;)

Well, maybe touch on how some engines will cost different amounts based on sales/budget. Unreal Engine is now free and Unity costs some money but both have royalty fees.
