Having Tablet Problems

So, hmm. I wasn't expecting my first journal to be about this.
Just a few days ago I ordered a Huion tablet off Amazon (GT-190). Amazingly, it arrived today, but I'm having a problem with it. The display is so dark, I literally have to shine a flashlight on it to see anything, even with the brightness on the highest setting.
I've been mucking about with settings and trying it on a different computer, but it's still not working. I'm afraid that the backlight might be broken, which I really hope isn't the case because I don't want to send it back already.
On the off-chance that anyone who sees this uses a Huion tablet, is this something that can be fixed on the software level, or am I going to have to send it back for repairs/replacement?

I sell computers, tablets and digital imaging equipment for a living. If the screen is that dark without switching the backlight off, there's something wrong with it.

Yeah, I ended up getting in touch with their customer support about it. I'm pretty sure the backlight was broken. Ended up getting it replaced, the new one works like a charm. Thanks for your help, though! ^v^
