Yeahhh I mean it's happened before and all, but they took down a STORY ICON that I had made specifically for my Launchpad Fic.

I mean the reason I love FA is because people will be able to find me. If I just do my art on my own website, no one will I fear. But If I wanna post whatever the hell I want, I need to make my own site. So in the end, I want to leave and be able to do whatever the hell I want.

If you mean by template, yeah. I got a opensource version of dreamweaver, its a mix of all the common webdesign programs so we should be good to go.

No it's not your fault, Seth. Really. It's mine. It's just that I can't seem to find an site that will be bitched out by the legal police simply over recolored sprites and not full on redrawing of the characters.

The argument I raise is that someone can draw Bowser in a full on porno-tentacle, girl's panties, rape scene and no one in legal would blink an eye, and yet a simple digital recreation is cause for alarm.

I just feel like it's a huge unbalance, and to be quite honest I always feel very angry as if I've just been given the short end of the stick.

You've probably heard the same argument over and over in the forums, but I know as a mod / admin your hands are most likely tied.

Oy there! I dunno if you've been able to find your sprite again, but you could always try to see if Google or Archive.org has one of the sites that it was on cached. Well... actually, Google wouldn't help there; I don't think they cache images. But it couldn't hurt to try Archive.org.
