Also, Salzberg (Austria) and Strasbourg (France/German Boarder) are just a hop away on a high speed train. Come to thing of it, so are Luxemburg and Liechtenstein. Make sure you get to Neuschwanstein Castle too.

Be sure to sink a couple of pints of Paulie, Bit and Warsteiner for the ancient otter too.
