I tried to use a sleeve of a thick shirt to close my door just in case it doesn't rattle about. It works..sometimes.

Unfortunately, I'd shut my door if I could, but it must remain cracked open (or just touching and not actually shut) in order for the pets to roam in and out of the room.

Ah... that's unfortunate.. ^^;

I don't know how your parents would feel about it, but i could always come over and do a cleansing (burn white sage at the four corners and ban any negative spirits etc) I know you told me before about the entety in the house.

I think I'd be too afraid to try anything.
But I've learned to ignore it so far, and just brush it off.

it's probably just a non malicious spirit. it may just want to be acknowleged. often house hauntings are children who can't find their way over,
