Back from St Louis

So I went to day into St Louis, and had a great time. Went iwth my bf Burr and Draco of zeredaith, and saw...so many tings!
Went to Cahokia mounds, and did a very leg tiring walk up the Monks Mound. This thing is about 100 foot high, and the views are breathtaking!!! It was a clear beautifyul wamr sunny day, and we can see all the way to downtown St Louis about 10-11 miles away. Very good views of the site around, including other mounds, and the woodhendge they had.
We spent some time there, taking pics, and then headed into ST Louis Proper for..a zoo trip! Of course! And the St Louis Zoo is big, sprawling, and beautiful. Saw alot of animals and got some awesome pics I'll have to post later!
After words, we had to take the big golden one to the Arch, as he's never been before. We got there, but it was too late to catch the ride up to the top. Unfortuanetly, while draco and i could get to the inside of the arch, at the base, the Gift Shop was closed, so he couldn't get anything for him mom.
Got some good pics there as well!!
Met up with Dragonien, and Talrex at Denny's in St Charles ((I am noticing this pattern in missouri cities)) And..I crossed the Missouri River!! A big thing for me, as I have never even seen this river before! I mean, St Louis is on the mississipi, but to see a tiny part of the longest river int the states..((yes, the Missouri is longer)) was pretty cool. Anyways, had a wild dinner with them, adn then back to Olney, so we can rest..FOR THE DERBY!!!
That's right guy's, I am Kentucky Derby bound tomorrow!
I'll hopefully post a journal after the derby for you guys!
