Bob set out to get the rest of the badges to beat the elite four. He faced both Koga and Sabrina, and using Sir Charles, beat them handily. He also beat the fighting dojo. He picked Hitmonchan as his prize. He then wander around the pokeworld for awhile. He ended up in the abandoned power plant. There he caught Zapdos, the legendary bird. He also retrieved the key in the pokemon mansion on cinnabar island. A scientist took his fossil and amber and in return, Bob got Kabuto and Aerodactal.
