What advice or warnings can you give to new and aspiring artists?

Two major things:

First: JUST KEEP DRAWING. maybe a cliche now, but you really have to keep with it. I only started about 18 months ago now. Never drawing as a kid or anything. It is all about doing it. Watching others draw in streams also help a lot as well! Not just digital though, people who stream traditional work help immensely.

Second: If you are going to draw digitally, GET A TABLET. Even something starting in the $50 area will help anyone out immensely.

Any tablet recommendations? uhh my budget is 50-250

for a starter intermediate model I would go with a $150 area. Something larger like a full sheet of paper size. the smaller ones are ok, but are definately harder to work upon when getting long strokes.

Other thing to look into would be Paint Tool SAI.
