My inability to create cruel characters for fetishes
10 years ago
So i've been around long enough to know that there are a lot of people who like having more harsh characters/ideas for there vore/fetishes and times i too fall under this area as well depending on my mood.
However very recently I had came up with a story idea based around a fox who would discover the ability to eat other beings but even discovers there is a group that supports this and uses it to rise to power and she joins it. A bit of a darker tale then say my normal stories but i'm no stranger to it ether. However as i thought about it more, i became more hesitant about it because i realized the character itself was a very harsh character. Again, i don't mind making harsh characters but then comes the element of fetish and death comes to play and....i just kindof freeze up on the idea.
I don't tend to like these characters with fetish because they come off as unlikable. Now there are some exceptions to this rule and every one has there own flavor and opinion. But for me, developing a flat character that eats to eats just doesn't come naturally to me, especially in a story. I'm still on the fence with this story idea since it is new and the protagonist isn't doing it just to vore. She just gets a "taste" of power and begins to use it so to speak.
I realize though the reason why i like doing more light hearted vore is because its a bit easier for me to deal with what i created. I don't have to be in a certain mood to enjoy it and i'm sure other people can agree on this. some people are willing to see something more light hearted and fun rather then dark and twisted...at least story wise. Not to mention there is a lot of that stuff around already.
Also if any one wants to know about the story and if it will be made, i don't know. Its brand new and i haven't given it any edge yet to it to help it stand out some.
Thanks for giving this a read :D

Originally for me, I created a few voracious heroes, and villains that were kinda basic. While I do still do that on occasion, like in one-shot stories, I've found that giving some of them a purpose that wasn't really evil, but good, but their way of ACHIEVING it rather gray was more to my liking.
For protagonists, I can't just have them static. There's got to be SOMETHING their wrestling with, that may tie into whatever they do. (Example: My bounty hunter Agua is the last of his race, an he feels lonely, and loses people as a result of outliving them, due to his longevity. His desire to devour others stems from his urge to keep others close to him.)
For antagonists, the cold-hearted ones are kind of bland to me; even a robber takes money to provide for himself. Now it is possible to be caught up in the thrill after a while, but at the very start, it's not about thrill, its survival. (Ex: My Thief for Hire Spire began as a common thief because he had no other means of support. Finding he was good at it, it escalated to a trade.)
Now voracious fellows are tricky though. To make someone eat JUST to eat is one thing, but from what I saw in your journal, She does it for a taste of power, suggesting she was powerless at one point, and decided to make sure she would not remain that way. Just a guess, I may be WAY off. Whichever the case may be, immersing these characters in in moral vices can entice a darker mood. But to me, it's more captivating than Light-hearted vore situations. Casual vore moments are still well and good, don't get me wrong. XD
In any case, I hope you do go through with the story, although I'd understand why you would not. Also it's late, and that causes me to create paragraphs. XD
