Animal Welfare Society Arlington Walk for the Animals and Pet Fest

Price: $30 online registration for walkers, or a donation to support the cause
Join us in giving back to the community along with hundreds of animal enthusiasts to benefit the Animal Welfare League of Arlington in their 20th annual Walk for the Animals. Register to take part in the 5k walk or 1 mile stroll to help AWLA take care of stray pets and improve lives of animals in our community.
Help us reach our goal of 10 walkers by registering through our pack page. Registration is $30 online for adults, or $40 on-site. Donations or pledges are welcomed, and can be collected through our pack page to help AWLA reach their $100,000 fundraiser goal. Each pre-registered walker will receive a free Walk t-shirt and pre-registered, participating dogs will receive a free bandana.
NOTE: Fursuits are welcome, but we ask that all suiters have one handler with them at all times, since there are dogs around. Remember this is an outdoor event and is happening rain or shine. Suiters please remember to stay hydrated, and handlers remember the sunblock! An headless lounge/cooling tent will be available. Even if you do not plan on completing the walk while in suit, we encourage all suiters be registered for the walk. Further details are on our meetups page.

Rocky Horror Picture Show at University Mall Theatres

Due to confusion about dates this past weekend, we will be attempting RHPS again. This time, our very own Marc will be staring as a criminologist walrus!
Midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is an entertaining and audience engaging event that will leave you doing the Time Warp again and again. This event is scheduled for May 2nd at midnight. I suggest arriving a few minutes early to get situated. Fursuit accessories are OK.
Be Weird! Have Fun!
NOTE: Fursuits are okay, but note that RHPS involves a lot of movement under hot theatre lights, and it does get warm inside Please plan accordingly, and remember to stay hydrated.

Note: Space limited to 25 attending
Game Day is for playing board & card & related games. If you aren't much into games, we have light social games where you can learn the game and fit right in. If you are a hard core gamer geek, we have a great selection of the hard stuff. We love to teach new games to new people. Up to five gaming tables will be available, seating 4-6 each. Bring your favorites or utilize our 150+ options (private collection including rarities, treat them nice; you damage it, you buy a new one at market value). If anyone is interested in gaming at Fur the 'More, we're going to have a ton of different retro games, a MAME cabinet, a decent selection of newer games (Smash, Rock Band 3, various fighters), a racing setup, and you're welcome to bring whatever you'd like in addition to that. Tabletop has a bunch of card games, but we're still looking for anyone interested in bringing/running roleplaying games.
