Going to watch Lost in Transmission on History?

It features Rutledge Wood going around and from what I gather taking old cars destined for the crusher, many of them not exactly classics and looks into the potential of each one of them. It premiers this Thursday.
Since it features Rut who was one third of the US Top Gear its safe to assume the dismal ratings our version was getting its time had come long before the UK version dealt with its current issues.
Will you be watching it? I will watch the first episode just to see what its like. But considering History let go of American Restoration and kept the stagnant Pawn Stars I don't see it lasting even if it is good.

It's an interesting concept but I don't know if Rutledge can really carry his own show. I don't think he'll be entertaining enough to do it, but we'll see...

They're trying to get more money from the Top Gear name recognition. Rutledge was probably the least interesting of the three from the American show, which was an absolute joke compared with the original. I'm just going to be over here in the corner, watching reruns of the BBC Top Gear, so don't mind me.

Sounds like a rip off of both Wheeler Dealers & Classic Car Rescue. I personally think this show is a bit of as "lifeboat" for Rutledge since the future of Top Gear USA is very uncertain right now.
