Help Please Artists!

Okay so I have begun dipping back into art and I am having a great deal of fun. I have photoshop, which I understand is on of the programs people use, but I know I need some other stuff too. So my question is, can y'all recommend a tablet that will help me out? Doing everything with a mouse is incredibly difficult, so I am assuming some kind of pen and tablet will help. What do you guys use? I'd appreciate your advice! Thanks!! ♥
