For a group RP, it might be fun to have something like a stage hypnotist with a bit more magic than one might realize at first.
Or perhaps a magic wand game where each player takes a turn bestowing a change upon another player.
A shipwreck upon a deserted and cursed island!

Maybe some friends get their hands on a reality altering device.
