Grim Trials (Goofy Youtube Vidcon Stuff I'm Involved With!)
So it occurs to me only recently that I've been working on a little project with my dearest
bossgoji and good friend
un for about a year now; I can only assume it's because I successfully managed to drink away the memories of playing some of the worst video games we can possibly dredge up and admitting this is Step 1 of the court-mandated 12 Step Program to address my alcoholism! It's called Grim Trials, and you can find all the episodes here: ( https://www.youtube.com/user/bossgoji ) dutifully edited and collated by our good friend Alicia! I show up somewhere around Episode 14, where we did X-Blades. Spoiler Warning: we wish we hadn't done X-Blades.
Basically the general gist of it all is that we take suggestions from our audience, generally ranging from terrible to awful (the games, not the audience, the audience is lovely) and play as much as we can physically take, with a minimum timer of 15 minutes, otherwise we would have just turned the NES Dragon's Lair game off as soon as the title screen came up.
We're always taking suggestions for new games; send anything that strikes you as bad enough over to gojipain@gmail.com! Please make sure they're not actually decent, or I'll wind up playing them for way too long and practically turn it into a Let's Play, like I did with Wolfchild. It's basically like a slightly worse Strider game, that's still good enough to clear my quality bar!
