Yep, it's been confirmed that those were "stream" journals. It' FA's way of alerting people's followers that they give a damn about your attempts at streaming your craft.

Yep, it's a lot but not a lot. I have mostly unpolished works but yeah, since they aren't especially colorful and cartoony with hardcore porn and/or furries, I ain't gonna get that far in a place like this. Yeah, nobody gives a damn about folks like me. ;u;

Yeah, I know. I don't remember them ever saying anything about this update unless I missed it I dunno how many years back on a blog update thing.

Aw, sorry to hear about that. D: Yeah, I've heard of a lot of problems with the people here. That was around the time when they wanted to promote Weasyl the last time I heard it was much worse. :(

The only ones I've seen highlighted are streams, but that's so you can easily delete them if you're not interested in watching streams.

But how does FA know you're streaming? Is there something you code in so it shows up as a stream highlight?

Holy crap, you're right! I just checked and every journal that I saw has a darker blue bar on it because it says "stream" in the title! Yeah, I ought to use this to my advantage when I finally get myself together to do digital art again. I have a streaming channel and I don't remember if I put it out there too much. With this new information, I could promote it better here I guess. :D

Just don't try to "cheat" it. It will only annoy those who don't want to watch (I feel like if I have time to watch a stream, then I have time to be drawing myself) and confuse or cause those who would very much like to watch you to miss out.

Psh, you know me. I'm not like that. I mean if I had a straight shot of streams, I could abuse the system that way but I'm not THAT stupid. XD I knew what I was saying when I made that last comment. It's for streams only. However, I think it was a mistake that one other time when I made a journal about why people never visit my streams no matter how many times I update my status in journals in all of my profiles EXCEPT for those good-for nothing freeloaders who always expect art requests from me just because it's a stream. That was the most comments I ever had on a journal here, especially one with my complaints so that was probably why. Hey, I mean I used to have REAL visitors a few years ago and even before that. Back in 2010 I had the highest to nearly 20 sometimes. But in 2012, I still had them but it was close to 10. Anytime after that, I got even less, you know? ;u; But thanks for your insights! ^^

Also, that's a problem for me. I hate how FA's notification system is so unorganized and outdated. It sucks! I am actually never able to attend streams all the time because I miss them by the time I check my messages or I'm at the wrong place at the wrong time, which is on my phone when I don't have access to my computers. D:
