ESG Recap!

Elliott's Spring Gathering...
Was AMAZING! I had an absolute blast, what a wonderful event! :D though I didn't sell a ton, I made enough to cover my expenses, and really that was about what I was hoping for. But more importantly, I met so many wonderful people, and made some awesome new friends. I even attended several of the events, which is definitely something I have not really done before. I am a very shy person and have a fair amount of social anxiety in new situations. Some encouragement from friends convinced me to socialize a bit, and I am so glad I did! I know that I will never conquer my anxiety if I don't take those first steps, so this was definitely a great start. :)
I've also started to venture into doing a bit of drawing to supplement my sculptures. I had a few ACEOs that I was offering at my table as an experiment, and was pleasantly surprised that there was a bit of interest in them. I was even commissioned for a few customs during the convention, something I have never done before. That was really encouraging, as I am not nearly as confident in my drawing ability compared to sculpting. I will be trying out offering them again at Megaplex.
I want to give a shout out to the wonderful
goldendruid who sat next to me in the artist alley. She and her husband were so nice and so much fun to hang out with, along with their friend Raze. Thank you guys for everything! It was also great to see the lovely
yuchicoyote , thanks again for that adorable Meowth drawing! Also thank you to everyone else who came by, whether is was to buy something, discuss a commission idea, or just to say hi. It really means so much to me to be a part of this great community. I am even more excited for Megaplex now!!
And speaking of Megaplex, while main commissions are still closed for the time being, I may be offering a few openings for Megaplex pick-up orders. I'll have more on that soon.
I apologize for this rather lengthy recap, haha! I just wanted to get my feelings out about all the fun I had this weekend. ;)
