If the journal is written like a pro Whyte wrote it Hey guys! Welcome to all the new people following us, you are wonderful, you all are, new and old! I really hope I can keep posting things you will enjoy~
Now, I want to give you a really quick overview of me, Redd, before I start asking for the advice as I think it is only fair that you know why I would be doing all this. I have a neurological disease that makes it very VERY hard to work a normal 9 to 5 job. I have one at the moment and the people are absolutely lovely but to be honest it is putting a HUGE strain on me and at some point I want to move over to living off of my art. So, that is me. I am the girl with a brain that is trying to kill me, one lesion at a time! XD
So, on to the advice I was asking for? How much is a good amount to ask for when starting commissions?
I have a basic overview all set up but I would love to hear from you guys. In the end you are the people who I am drawing all this for and so your voice is the most important to me! Here is my list:
Commission prices
Reference Page
$60 for full body front, segmented back, 4 features (eg: horns, eyes, mouth, genitals) +$10 for full face shot, +$10 for two chibi pictures to show clothing choices
Full Colour Images
Full body of 1 Character $45 in any pose wanted. +$25 for a second character
Half Body of 1 character $30 in any pose +$20 for second character
Bust of 1 character $20 with any expression +$10 for second character
Flat Colour Images
Full body of 1 Character $30 in any pose wanted. +$20 for a second character
Half Body of 1 character $20 in any pose +$10 for second character
Bust of 1 character $10 with any expression +$5 for second character
Line Art Images
Full body of 1 Character $20 in any pose wanted. +$10 for a second character
Half Body of 1 character $15 in any pose +$7 for second character
Bust of 1 character $7 with any expression +$5 for second character
Sketch Images
Full body of 1 Character $15 in any pose wanted. +$7 for a second character
Half Body of 1 character $10 in any pose +$5 for second character
Bust of 1 character $5 with any expression +$3 for second character
Any additional characters after the second will need to be negotiated individually
How does that look to you wonderful people? I really want to be able to live independently and this so far is the best way to do it!
Whyte has been talking AT me while I have been trying to do the the entire time so if there are any spelling mistakes or terrible grammar please blame him :L
I would also like to set up a patreon at some point so people can set up reoccurring commissions from me and see all the art that I don't put up here! But that is something for another day.
