I...do not like lies. I dont like lying, and i dont like hiding things. Recently, you, my lovely watchers may have seen my latest OC Orbit. He...is so awesome to me. I LOVE this wolf. However, he was born of the idea to give a gift to a friend. She had a design contest i was going to enter, but i lost the page id drawn Orbit on.

So i was too late. A winner was decided. Later, the same friend asked for another design. I said i would draw one. Since i had lost Orbit, i was going to draw a new one. And then i found him. I posted the image of him, its in my gallery still. I did not send a link to the little lady ( ;-;) I felt bad.. like i was hiding something from her... but thought "its my character, i designed him i'll decide later if i give him up or not!" Meanwhile, i thought, i'll get art of him and if i do give him up i will give her all the art with it. I attended a stream and she was there. She, up until this point, did not know. She asked "i thought it was for me" after going to the link a day after i posted it. "He needs arts!" i told her, believing it wouldnt be too hard later to give him up. And then i sent her a note, Subject: Orbit. I was going to tell her "i will give him to you soon!" But i couldnt bring myself to type it. Instead, i offered shared ownership. She declined.

What do you all think? Am i being too selfish? I feel it is my right to keep him, to change my mind. I offered a compromise, and i was rejected. I was going to do it as a favor, for a friend. She lost nothing right? Please fell free to state your two cents, it would be appreciated. I dont want to lose her as a friend, but i feel a little...used? Like she wont consider my feelings... idk please share your point of view. Feel free to help me get new perspectives with a boost for this post. Im torn...
