Damn, i hope nothing is wrong with you Night.

My sister had a cyst in the rear lower area of her brain that was pushing up on her brain causes her headaches etc etc etc... They drained it and shes been a lot better since.

There are things that can be wrong that aren't too serious or difficult to fix.

I certainly hope Night falls into such a category MusicAd! =O

Perhaps a question to keep your mind off of it... (This being directed towards Night) was the MRI loud? It seems to be the only thing people have to say about it.

Better yet... you got an MRI appointment that quickly? Thats just impressive O_O But you clearly need it!

I hate when the doctor does that. MY primary care does not do that any more as he knows I will just go in and look at my record myself.

Its very simple... Not every doctor can specialize in every field... You don't want a general practitioner telling you that you have cancer... They just don't know as they're not trained in it. They may be able to tell you that they THINK its cancer based on your descriptions, but an oncologist is much more trained in dealing with such a situation.

Ohh I know. I work in medical offices and labs (hince the ability to look at my own files) But for me my doctor is not only my doctor but a friend and a coworker. I know him well enough if he gets evasive something is wrong and at that point I want him to tell me as a friend/coworker outside of the doctor/patient what he thinks. He knows now I wont hold him to it.

Like when I got my MRI... (the mri lab is a client too) "so how bad is it" "we wont know till radiology in tampa looks it over" "let me see the screen" "ok" "my back is fucked isnt it" "yeah kinda.. but I am just the techni.." "Dont worry you know I wont hold it against you"

Unfortunatly most people can not do this. Sadly its the waiting game. At this point it sounds like radiology has looked at his films and he is in the same boat as I am... waiting for the neurologist. In my case I know whats wrong. Its down to if they are going to be cutting me open and digging in my spine or not.

In that case, you've got it better than most.

Dont be nervourse its probably because the person that took your scans isnt as expeiernced as a neurologist
