Learning beautiful life lessons

life is good... ain't it so?
Today I learned not to update your bios and attempt shutting down the
Machine after it hasn't stared up in over an hour.
Toshiba costumer service told me to let it run till tomorrow and see what pops.
*bangs head on wall*
My warranty only covers the states. I don't live there -_-'

While there is a slight possibility that letting the computer run will fix it, the possibility is rather remote. I'd guess the tech you called was more interested in getting you off the phone rather than helping you. If you have a CD drive, I'd recommend getting a linux burned disc to at least get the computer to function (Hopefully). From there you might be able to re-install the BIOS and get the system back up and running.

Unhook your computers power cord from the back of it and wait 30 minutes this is called a Hard Reset, after which when asked if you want resume don't otherwise you'll get the black screen again.
