Am I the only one who thinks it's odd to have a day like Paw day where the people who celebrate it draw/enjoy feet every other day?
I really don't have to state my opinion on feet/paws, I think you can gather that info pretty easily. I don't condemn it, mind you, paw it up! I just think it's redundant, in a sense where we might as well celebrate "breathing day".

That said, for me it was a Tuesday.
Joking aside, I can see what you mean, it's more of an awareness/recognition thing.
Now that the artist is fairly popular, people jumped on to doing it every year, at this point either to get attention or to earn a bit of cash from the day selling paw related stuff. The day is totally self-indulgent and nothing else.
