Hey guys, Kitty here. You guys probably wondering; hey why has there been less artwork put up? or, what happened to the commissions and requests? Also any update with your con visits? Well, I had to take a step back and look at my life a little bit. I felt things were a little misunderstood or out of place and with a few of my dA brother giving me a pep talk about future goals. I was able to make things a little bit clear on what I want to do with my future as an anime artist.

The First question: Why is there been less artwork?

For those who know me and read my journals. They know that I have returned to school for Phlebotomy. I'm seeking a place in the medical field. This career is only half of what I want to do with my life. I feel this is wonderful way to get funds for my future endeavors in artistry. Well, hopefully until I can elevate myself to where I wish to be in my art. So due to this I have been so busy with studying that I have been able to complete the 5 picture cycle that I usual do. So I'm sorry about that. v.v

What happened to the commissions and request?

The commission orders are still open and the request are almost completely. (I'm in the process of finishing one of them and hope to complete the list for dA very soon.) However, due to the first explanation it has slowed down the production of these pics. So hopefully this will change by the end of the month. So please for those have been patient with me be a little tad more and I thank you for all your support.

Update with the con Visits?

Due to the hold back of my commissions and trying to balance support new comes to this page. Its been slow. There is still a long way to go regarding my planned goal amount in order to get Connecticon this year. This was one of the pep talks I had with one my dA brother. I see a lot people are requesting money for the same reasons. However, I don't go to conventions to just have fun and spend money on swag. I use this time to learn how to run a booth. ( In more detail, when I get to future goals.) Almost all my money I make when I have this commission goes towards supplies and in the near future a both so I can sell my artwork to you wonderful supports. ^^ So it stands right now, I only have a little over a $100 dollars. I still $400 dollars more in order to achieve this goal.

NOW, FOR FUTURE PLANS AND GOALS:

Since, classes will be coming to end very soon for me and in hopes of getting a job in a lab. There is a few changes that I want to conduct every since the beginning of you year. I want to deem this year as the year I have made some huge progress in getting closer and closer to my career as an anime/manga artist.

Traditional might have to be on the back burner for awhile. Yes you heard me right. I will be soon adding to the digital burgage. Nothing against traditional artwork. As you guys know, I love it to death. Its something about it makes my art pieces feel alive. However, due to what I'm trying to do on the long run make a name for myself and hopefully start having booths at conventions in the near future. ( Assuming within a years time. ) Traditional is very expensive and I want to make a profit that will help me invest in my dream.

I'm making a card. Enough said. I'm excited for this project. I'm hoping to have it done before Connecticon if I'm still going.

Booths This is my ultimate goal for next year. I'm working on my art in away I can to make this a reality so I can work from there into my next phase of my lifes dream.
