Ireland becomes first country to legalise same-sex marriage by popular vote
All the results are in, and the returning officer, Ríona Ní Fhlanghaile, has declared that Ireland has passed the same-sex marriage referendum by 1,201,607 votes to 734,300. That’s 62.1% yes to 37.9% no. The total turnout was 60.5%.

thanks x Notting can stop any gay marriage now in ireland as its now in our Constitution so no law can stop it and the only way to get rid of it now is if all of Ireland vote no again in the future if a referendum ever goes trough for it again but that will never happen =3

i never thought about it before recently but someday i might find a man i want to marrie so its cool i have the option now and i did vote for the first time ever =3
