Break from FNAF Artwork and My Long Awaited Thoughts
10 years ago
I know from some of y'all it's a little disappointing and for some it's a relief to see something new. I wanted to concluded it with the FNAF series pics with all of the characters. So unless it's commissioned (with an OC/fursona with them, I'll explain about this in another journal hopefully soon) which I'll probably won't posted commissions, this'll be the last you see me posting FNAF for my gallery unless it's really something special. But I usually don't draw too much fanart of one subject at a time but obviously this has been my most fanarted.
I'm not a "huge" fan of the game series and I never played any of the games, but I have watched LPers like Markiplier play them and I have enjoyed some of the artwork that followed the game. I also had found the story behind it interesting to piece together but I wouldn't call it like some others say "the scariest game ever made". It had unique jumpscares in them and they were good at first but eventually you get use to them and recognize patterns in each of the 3 games.
[TL;DR] I'll be moving on from drawing FNAF artwork for personal means, and I would not consider myself a "huge" fan of the game or "fanboy" of FNAF, just was mostly interested in the artworks. I want to draw a little variety of artworks as I have always stated since my days on DA. I hope my new watchers who had found me though my FNAF artwork will also enjoy my other artworks as well. :)
Extra: A curious question though to fans or not, how would any of you feel about a real Fazbear's Pizzeria being planned or would feel if it was already existing? (minus the deaths or threats of actual death from the place of course)

FA+

it seems to me it's hyped either because furries or because LPers abusing the everliving deadbeat horse out of it for attention/admoney x03
i enjoy your other artwork a lot more, so i'd be glad to see some new stuff :3
Overall, I think I provided well enough of FNAF artwork for now since I'm not a FNAF only artist. Besides, I'm sure some people would like to see some different things by now instead of FNAF every other pic. lol Doesn't mean I'll quit it permanently just like any other fanart.
i know it's being milked to oblivion, but so are a lot of other games, nobody's forcing anyone to buy it, so it's pretty much the customers' fault
i will say though, it -is- disheartening to see all these LPers, granted some of them are good[i watch one myself], but most are jumping on the easy-money/fame bandwagon that ads bring in
a lot of people are now fully employed on youtube and as that goes on, it'll soon become exactly like sports/tv: there will be so many, that the competition is going to be furious, the audience won't grow at this point, they will only divide especially if the broken record keeps on being played: yell at the screen from the camshot at a new scary game that came out
i don't mind FNAF, i'm not a fan of the game/art, i just prefer seeing other people's own creative design, rather than something that's being redone, it's why DA is sort of an odd place to be, it's all about fanarts/anime
and with fanart, i'm always like: "it would be nice to see it in that guy's style once, see what it's like" x03
also yeah~ can say never at times, but it's best not to usually~
apart from that..it honestly feels a bit insulting when a LPer just jumps on the games every LPer jumps on[mostly scary or new AAA games]
like they -expect- you to watch these and they just do that to milk money and views from it, instead..y'know, trying to enjoy some games, make witty comments, join a nice community
right now, LPers are not in danger, they make good money and i'm fine with that, even though it won't last long
it's what youtube brought on itself, it's heavily supporting quantity[time spent viewing and frequency of uploads] compared to quality, which is why youtube cartoons, avgn and a lot of other shows have disappeared or went onto let's playing
just y'know..if you have it easy or if you do an obvious attempt at milking the audience, at least please be clear and honest about it, then pretty much no harm, no foul
the one let's player i watch makes it clear that he's thankful to his fans for letting him play games full-time very often and very frequently makes jokes about how it's not a "real job" x03
but most LPs are kinda like ychs, i don't mind ychs at all, but when i see artists doing the obvious porn cashgrab and not even attempting to at -least- do something different or be creative, that's just disappointing >>
nah, i get it, it's not my thing, i personally find it very cringy/weird to do these "acting out webcamming", but if people enjoy it, who am i to judge? x03
[except to judge them for wasting time, which probably a lot of people do, procrastinating on those :0o ]
i like simple game design with heavy complexity behind it, it's why i'm a big fan of indie games, souls series, but to me, FNAF doesn't seem to have too much to the gameplay in the sense that i can't see myself replaying it over and over
you learn the mechanics of each character and how to properly keep track of them and it'll soon become a jumpscare tamagotchi rather than a game x03
that's part of how i got into even some puzzle games x03 never judge things you don't know about~
Anyways, can't wait to see what you'll be working on next.
As for IRL Frazbear, eh... Maybe if it was a haunted Halloween attraction or something?
As for IRL Fazbear's, I think it'll be like a haunted restaurant like franchise. Like maybe a normal restaurant during the day (the easy idea to plan) and a haunting experience at night (the harder idea). I have actually thought of some more ideas about it even a restaurant design concept before in my spare time for the heck of it.
