THIS ACCOUNT IS MUSIC ONLY Started a new story today. Bringing back this bunch: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1316339/
Buuut coupled with the Samson/Ethanos story....I doubt i'll ever finish either. But it feels so GOOD to have things written on my computer again. Since the crash of my old one, and the loss of all my things....its been pretty depressing. I had 30 or so odd stories that had a page, or a fraction of a page, or a few pages, or a chapter.... And i'd pick them up every once and a while, read them, write a few more paragraphs or another page, or do some editing....And I loved having them there. And now I guess this is the start of my little library of stories that are constant WIPS on this computer. My writing has improved since then, I know. Because I used to have stories that were a paragraph of description, and then a wall of dialogue. In school they give you praise for your dialogue when you use a lot of it because a lot of beginning writers don't really do any. But when you have nothing but a wall of conversation...its not a story. ^^;;
Still, my storywriting remains very dialog-driven.
Here, just cuz i can, have a snippet from things.
All's Fair
My story about Ethanos and Samson, also about war.
"You're a good friend, Ethanos, but I am not so sure I trust your words in this matter." Samson replied, matter-of-factly. He sat back, glancing at his friend smugly. "I have never seen you look at any woman the way I see you look at Ihnad. There is more than lust in your eyes, a rare thing indeed for you."
"An' fer ye as well, make no mistake!" Ethanos laughed again, hitting Samson in the arm with his flute. "Ye lust more than any man I've ever come 'cross. An' I should know, what with yer--"
"Ethan." Samson's voice was stern. "Shut your mouth before any more words escape it. You know very well and good how I feel about that particular piece of information being so readily spread to the public."
Ethanos glanced dubiously at his friend. "Eh...fine, alright. Sorry."
The cause of Samson's worried pride had come into being two years earlier when the two best friends had started into training to become soldiers. They had grown up together, side by side, and though they were different they both pushed past the small annoyances they had for each other in light of their friendship. Ethanos had always found Samson far too serious and cold at times, while Samson found that Ethanos could be much too boisterous and loud. Not that Ethanos was devoid of serious moments, or that Samson was never boisterous, but for the most part the two stood nearly as opposites. Despite this, the two of them were hardly without each other.

The Fundamentals
My story about the Fundamental Alliance and how they got started. See link above.
She looked up as Adam spoke to her, made an over-exaggerated thoughtful face, and replied, “Oh, I don't know. Of course I'm going to miss the place. The art classes and the people, and having something to do all day. I'll miss my friends a lot too, but I expect I'll see them quite a bit after we get outta here, you know? I'm not really going anywhere. My grades weren't good enough to get into many colleges.” That was one thing that Adam had never understood about Lizzie. She may act strange and ditsy and silly, but once you got past that she was a really bright girl. She was a talented writer and speaker, and a gifted artist. She had a mind that wandered into things that Adam would never have expected from her. The first time he knew he could tolerate her presence was when she had started up a conversation about one of Adam's favorite things; String theory.
There was a pause as the two of them fell silent. Lizzie got up from the desk and wandered over to the back of the classroom. “Well, this is what I came in here for.” She said, picking up a portfolio. It had doodles of green peace signs all over it. “Just some of my writing junk from last trimester I wanted to grab before I boycott this place for good.” She grinned as she walked back up to Adam. “Any reason you're in here?”
“It was my last class of the day, so I was just...Thinking.” Adam didn't know what else to say to her. Part of him wanted to tell her that she really meant something to him, being one of the only people who had ever really made an effort to seek him out at lunch, or say hi to him in the halls. Another part of him told him the other part of him was sentimental and insane. He wasn't really the kind of guy who shared his feelings so readily with people.
“Sounds like loads of fun. What're you doing after you're done thinking? Cuz I'm kinda hungry, and all my friends have gone home. You wanna grab some fast food or something?” Adam started to make a face, and Lizzie interjected. “I'll buy.”
HE ENDS UP WITH THE ALIEN CHICK NOT HER SO SHUSH YOU ALL
And now for the real reason this journal exists. Its 3:02 AM. I'm gonna make my bed and then sleep in it. Goodnight duckies.

FA+

I'm going to be laughing about this all day.
Also
I tend to write differently when i'm doing different timeperiods/genre. Because All's Fair is set in a different time, and The Fundamentals is more modern, they have different voices. I dont really like writing in a modern voice because I think it takes more skill to get it to sound right, and doesnt sound as pretty. >>
