Wow, this movie seems to have really divided people. Some people HATE IT. Myself, I'll state my own opinion about it thusly: See This Movie. Ignore the haters and the cranky critics and get thy keester into a theater NOW.

Yes, the film is preachy. Thank goodness. It preaches exactly the sort of intellectual kick-in-the-butt that I think we NEED right now with the current zeitgeist. People don't think (or at least talk much) about these issues these days and I bloody well think that we should again. Yes, it's a movie that asks you to THINK a bit about what it's saying. Huzzah.

I find it significant that both my life-mate AND myself were tearing up severely at the end of this thing. We're the exact sort of nerds this movie was made for. I hope there are a lot more out there.
