Kitty's Lost in Thought - New Job, New Approach

General
Things are slowly starting to become a tad difficult in the past week and for the weeks, or maybe months, to come. So far the only thing that's good out of all of this is that I got out of the resort and retail business and scored a factory position.
Now as much as I like to make sure that the customers/guests are happy with their stay and appreciating my random happy-go-lucky attitude, there were only so many things that I can withstand for a matter of time. Telling guests where the exit is, guests giving odd or stern looks while helping them off the attractions like I'm eyeing them or something. The same thing goes while trying to take care of their little ones too. Worst yet, the thousand mile stare while on go karts because they weren't fast enough. Mix those in with a few co-workers not caring about others or doing childish to ridiculous actions to the guests and you have a perfect blend of something that's about to go off. Good thing I have a stronger tolerance and escaping before the summer starts do avert that possibility.
Now I'm a factory working kitty in a plastic making warehouse. Basically I check for quality and making sure the product piece is ready to go. But I'm in the laboring aspect in that department. It's pretty challenging, but I'm the type of person that wants to get things done efficiently. Although the pay is really good, I'm still trying to get into the graveyard shifts. I'm more of a night cat then anything, so it's best to actually do something than just play games overnight. Besides, it's a great benefit for the weekends. Especially when it comes to raves at cons. =~_^=

But every new thing must have some issues to work out. Lately it's not only getting use to the sleep scheduling but it's also the lack of actual gaming and relaxing at home. Granted, the new co-workers are just like myself. Random and silly at times, but know that we got to get the job done. And that's what I like. However, now I'm barely getting any response or communication with the people I normally game with. Currently, video games that involves any multiplayer aspects are requiring you to actually have friends to achieve what you want or even get good at the game. I remember playing Halo 2, 3 and Reach by myself and managing to get a good average score. If I get a certain amount of points through the match, I'm good. Now a days I can easily get double, triple or even team assaulted while my other randoms go off somewhere. And when I get a good pack/clan that invites me in, it will only be a good month or two before they don't play anymore.
The same can be said about MMOs too. You pair yourself with other players to conquer your guest and defeat the game with positive vibes and comradery all around. But once you beat the game and attempt to get better gear, that comradery is instantly shattered from the randoms you play with because you have to go through that same quest over and over again. And those that played it before expect you to be good instantly. Otherwise they just leave the party.
Not only that, but even outside of gaming I barely get any chances chill out or assistance in going to furmeets anymore. I know fending for myself to get a car and license back is one thing. But sadly I'm going to end up being "That Guy." Who is "That Guy?" Exactly that question. The one that randomly invites you to join their party so they can get get better equipment. The one that suddenly IMs you and admires who you are like some kind of stalker and constantly wants to RP or getting art with them without knowing who they are. "That Guy"
I normally have others IM me at times. Only problem is, I'm not very good at starting conversations. It's just normally:
Hey
Yo./Mew/-nyo *noses*
What's up? / How's it going?
Going good. / Hanging in there. / Nothing much
-> You?
Same here/ Pretty good
Cool
.........................and that's it.
For me, it's tough being more active with so many things wondering through my mind on what to do. Maybe if I stop pondering so much I might actually get started in making something.
Uber long story short, I'm starting a new chapter going on an "Out of Left Field" path with only one problem.
