My absense!-big changes around me-

Ok so I know I haven't been around lately and I wanted to just post a quick journal as to the reasons!
If you saw my previous journal, from a couple weeks ago, I stated I was moving downstairs in the new unit. Well it hasn't been done and the move date kept getting pushed and pushed. But that day is now tomorrow! I have today off and im packing the rest of our things and we will then spend all day tomorrow moving downstairs and cleaning the unit we're in now for the next person to move in! Then I work the rest of the week but when im not working ill be unpacking everything and putting it in it's place!
And speaking of work, this is what is changing the most. Last week the awesome people that owned my store, and 2 others, sold them to a very large franchise. He owns 40 something moes throughout the surrounding states as well as over 300 wendy's through out the US. So it's a large corporate company. And with that everything is changing. Myself and everyone else still has there jobs of course, but there's alot of stress. Everyone has to fill out new paperwork, 3 times the amount, there's a new dress code and uniforms and a lot of things we did around the store we can't do anymore. And im not upset about that by any means, its the fact that im management so I have a lot of responsibilities with these changes lol and when you employ alot of 16-19 year olds who are more worried about if they can wear their nose ring or not then they are with signing their W-4 it gets frustrating lol Last week I pulled close to 60 hours, no days off. And the next couple of weeks i fear will be similar. Im tired already so I know it will only get worse. But im making good money, and I may be able to get another raise. With the new owners being rich as all hell they can afford paying Tiikeri and I more lol woo! But this coupled with moving downstairs I won't have much time for art at the moment. Im still trying to do something every day, even if it's just a sketch or inking or something. But ill be a little bit MIA.
