This looks utterly amazing. ANd as I said to iyu, totally low tech and true, not lots of glossy swoopy CGI.

From what I've read, Spike Jonze insisted on filming the entire thing with hand-held cameras from a kid's perspective as they ran around in the woods and such. That's why it's been delayed so much -- they had to CG the faces on and match actual real-world lighting conditions and camera jiggles and stuff, which is insanely hard. But it looks so huggable :)

Carroll (the lead Wild Thing, voice of James Gandolfini) looks exactly the way I always pictured him in my childhood imagination.
