I imagine it's like most things where you just have to push yourself out of your comfort zone and persevere through it if you find the trip worthwhile enough. There are some things you can communicate very effectively through erotic art that are absolutely worth sharing, though. Luis Quiles (Gunsmithcat on DeviantART) is an artist I follow who does a lot of interesting erotic art to communicate all kinds of different messages, and there's often a lot of visual play and humor. I would find being able to do things like that very worthwhile!

But this is just my perspective! I wanted to share it in case you thought it useful!
