So I thought I'd make a journal about myself since I have been absent from the fandom for a couple years and just recently became active again. Sooo here's a few things about me that I would like to share with whoever is interested in getting to know me better! I really want to start making new friends in the fandom so I think this is a good way to introduce myself ;^;
I go by Zuri in the fandom, I have a real name, but unless you know me personally you can just call me Zuri, I like it better ;3
I live in the boring state of Indiana with my dad still (lol)
I also have a mom and a 20 yr old sister
I am 22 and have a bf I've been with for 2 years, he's not into the fandom tho :<
I recently have realized I am a gray-asexual, bf isn't too fond of that but oh well!
I am almost finished with community college and have a part time job working with children (ugh)
I am transferring to an art school in the fall and hope to work on my illustration skills for a full time career
I honestly don't have that many close friends because I have always been kinda shy, but I'm working on that :3
I obviously love drawing, mostly animals, which is how I got into the fandom in the first place.
I created Zuri in 2008 while in high school
The first fandom I really got into was the pokemon fandom, before Zuri
Zuri wasn't actually my first character, I also have a husky character named Akiko I created in like 2006 or something
I am currently saving up for a fursuit, so I can feel more comfortable at conventions and meets (again, shyness)
I really love arting, music, swimming, camping, hiking, fishing, animation, nintendo games, and TLK :)
I am a pescatarian, which basically means I am a vegetarian who eats fish.
I am a pantheist, basically I find spirituality in nature but don't believe in god(s).
I am a peace-loving person who accepts everyone despite my beliefs :3
Unless it's something that causes harm to others or nature/animals, then I'll let you know how I feel :D
