Recently I commented on artwork created by a popular and much watched artist.
I never expect to hear anything back on my comments, as they are intended to give recognition and praise to the artist for a piece of work.
Usually any replies are along the lines of "Thank you". Recently the reply was along the lines of "Now you need to create a sculpture of this."
...and it floored me. Ironically, the art in question is on my to do list, a very long list of things I want to sculpt!
I love comments...having people comment on a piece is amazing and affirming, but there is something about having a skilled artist give positive feedback, in any way, on your work that is just amazing!
