That's a really good question! Alas, I have a pretty unsatisfying answer: I think I'm really good at feeling out of place. So though I've fallen in love with a variety of places, from the Midwest to Argentina to DC, that love is often for the people I cherished, the history I've learned, or the uniqueness of the geography, not because of how I fit in.
I'm not sure if I have a favorite.
But one thing is for certain: my favorite is NOT Southern California.
ONE thing? There are tons of things. Like the beak.
But beyond dashing physical resemblance, he's afflicted by the same sort of navel-gazing quest for perfection that's consumed me at various points in my life--and which I'm trying to overcome.
