More bad news - Health update

Sorry it took me awhile to post an update, I guess I didn't really know how I should let my friends in the furry fandom know.
about a week and a half ago I had a doctor's appointment and a new CT scan to see how the tumors in my liver have been responding to chemo treatment. It was bad news, the tumors are not responding to chemo and grew about 50% in size since my last scan two months ago. This tumor is being pretty aggressive and the doctors are out of different chemo drugs to try on it.
But there is still hope, and new type of treatment has just opened up for clinical trials and I was put on the list right away and received my first treatment yesterday. This treatment is not chemotherapy but immunotherapy. It uses my own immune system to fight the cancer.
Right now this drug is really my last hope. I am terrified, but remaining positive.
If this drug fails to stop the growth of my tumor my cancer will be considered terminal and it will be estimated that I will have 24 months left to live. But that is NOT gonna happen. Not giving up.

If this Immunotherapy doesn't work I will be calling other doctors. But it is gonna work. and no I would not take your liver, you need it.
Yes. It will work. And I don't need my liver if it means helping you. ;w;
Hang in there. Hoping for the best for you. There is constant research going on when it comes to fighting cancer. If this new treatment doesn't work there may be something else developed over the course of the next couple years. But this immunotherapy sounds very promising.

A short update about me, skip to the bottom if not interested:
We are about the same time frame for both of us. I just had surgery to remove the large tumor from my right brachial plexus but I still have suspected metastasis in my lungs that luckly have not been growing to fast and on the last CT scan all was under a CM comparied with the the 12x7x5 cm mass that was in my shoulder.
The gennetic study lean three posible treatments after I heal up a bit in July, all trials. For me P1K seems likely.
I will most likely not gain full use of my right arm again with the damage that the sarcoma did to my nerves, bones and musles. I am in PT now.
I really hope this works for you, I know I am still fighting and I hope you keep fighting. I was thinking of you when in hospital when I was recovering from my last surgery.
