I was in the intensive care unit a couple of years back and I fully recovered after my op, you're prolly made of tougher stuff than me so you'll be fine. ;3

I have never been one for dispensing the right kind of words. Nothing I say seems to help those I care for. But there is one thing I can do. Put things in perspective. I point out the obvious things in life that could be worse, which hopefully gets people to see the hope and light in their situations. Please tell me if I'm helpful or not.

1. What you have can be treated, and there is no immediete threat of sudden death.

2. What you have is non lethal, non infectious, and has no long term ramifications in the forsee able future.

3. Instead of taking off the top of your head, their going to put a tiny hole in yours. You may lose some hair and gain a temporary extra hole, but time, and antibiotics will heal with hopefully little to no scar damage.

4. It's not cancer. That deserves a mention of it's own.

5. You will be so doped up on pain meds you wont even notice the pain for the first few days.

6. People will not ask you to do any manual labor for a while.

7. Since you will have the excuse of being on lots of pain medication, you can be as wild and crazy as you wish. Scare the nurses, put tapioca in your bed pan and ask the doctors to eat it, ask someone to hook the cable outlet to the hole in your head so you can watch tv in your mind, buy something outrageously expensive with someone elses credit card.

8. Enjoy the fact that while, yes you do get splitting horrible headaches, your flesh isn't being eaten by bacteria, you are not sproating bark and leaves, and you can still digest food without having to have someone chew it for you.

That's all I got right now, but if you find you need more, message me. I hope you get better soon! And if you get the chance, ask for morphine, not pussy vicaden. Vicaden doesn't dull the pain AT ALL! It just takes the edge off slightly.

Generally codine or some other "awesome" drug will be dispensed but morphine actually isn't all that uncommon for the recovery immediately afterwards.

its basicly ruteen bro but well with anything happening with the brain its risky

is it located in your ear area, my dad had those and all they did was a head stretching manuvor so they fell back into the liquid they came from and they de-crystallized.
