IT IS HERE GUYS, FINALLY! I DID MY WAITING AND IT IS FINALLY HERE!! FALLOUT MOTHERFUCKING 4 AFTER 7 YEARS OF PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT IT, BETHESDA RELEASED THE TRAILER FOR FALLOUT 4.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WATCHED THE COUNTDOWN OF THIS GOING ON YESTERDAY I SIMPLY COULDN'T WAIT AND OMG WAS IT WORTH IT!! The goosebumps are real!

-My death by orgasm aside this looks sooo fucking cool! It looks as if we are gonna have the opportunity to watch the events and story unfold JUST as the atomic bombs fell, based on what i could guess by the trailer i suppose, which means this could be a precuel to aaaaall other Fallouts where the story develops AFTER the bombs struck. so fucking hype! If Deus ex: Mankind Divided has me already saving up cash for a next gen console this reveal is like the icing on the cake!
Fallout 3 and New Vegas never looked visually stunning, besides maybe some stretches of environment, so I'm really hoping they get with the times with the visuals and animations >.>
Hopefully they'll reveal something for E3 that'll really look exciting. Though, I don't have a next gen console, so it's not like I'd be able to say I'm readily available to play it.
Gameplay>Graphics
Grahics is something that can (in my personal opinion) be overlooked if the gameplay is excellent. Sure it can add to the overall goodness of the game but i mean have you seen that game "The Order: 1886"? The graphics are STUNNING, but once you play it it's absolute crap.
To me Bethesda looks as if they knew the graphics wouldn't be on par with other "next" gen games, and put extra effort developing a good game that hopefully runs smoothly and better than any other Fao games.
If they can deliver THAT then by all means go ahead and chip away a bit of graphics for better gameplay.
But you're right, if they're gonna ask $60 for it, my hopes are that that hoe better runs smoothly, never crashes, no invisible walls, More mods and guns are out cuz yeah they have to improve and add a lot of content if they're planning on asking for that price. so they better deliver what good they have delivered on other titles and MUCH MUCH more now that they have the power to stress that next gen console engine to its fullest.
Honestly, games like Terraria really got me hooked, despite them being pixelated and goofy.
(also Minecraft's 12-year-old annoying fanbase kills it for me)
And now i gotta play Terraria.
That and a good story with good gameplay...

Hmm... Brotherhood of Steel radio? It's been a long damn time, but didn't they say in the first two games that they formed on the East Coast? I would bet on that being a part of the game if this does turn out to be a prequel.

In all seriousness, I am a little worried about the voice overs. The trailer seemed to hint at the player character being voiced over too. If they go that route, I'm hoping for something like Mass Effect (male/fem Shep). Even better if there are more than two voice choices...

Oh, and can't forget Westly Snipes! This can be like Fallout 4: Expendables 4. xP
I have to admit, that it may please and entertain some. It's all good. sadly, I only see it as a downgrade compared to it's predecessors! But please, dismiss my ill feelings toward Bethesda games! I am clearly not enjoying them...nor the swarm of bugs in them.
As for seeing it as a downgrade from his predecesors, well this is where personal preference comes into play :o
-There's absolutely nothing wrong with your critique that you where bored out of your ass with Fao3 xD , the game CAN be repetitive at some points, the AI being retarded, the bug fest and glitches can be a pain in the ass and some of its story from previous "bird eye view" predecessors where left out as if the new console peasants (joking of course lol) where not gonna take or like on it's dark gripping raw meaning; sure the story from the first Fao's is AMAZING to say the least and it does feel like they held back on its dark beginnings when they hit 3 like they feared the public wasn't gonna like it, maybe that's why it didn't feel like the good ol' Fallout titles.
But hey, they also improved A LOT as well, implementing V.A.T.S, going in 1st and 3rd person view to immerse you even more in the game, making blowing up a ghoul with a teddy bear fired from the Rock-it-launcher feel like the funniest shit on earth, etc.. steps that a lot of the Fao community took as something fresh and cool! (It didn't get the Game of the year title for nothing)
But also as a die hard fan i will give praise and critique to the game when it sure as hell deserves it, like the AI being retarded, the constant crashing and broken half assed quests, items glitching out of the map and a lot of stuff that pisses off players that even to this day Bethesda has not heard the end of it lol
But here i will give Fallout 4 a chance, i hope they succeed! And if they don't so help me God i will go to their offices and bitch-slap everyone of the personel.
Yeah, maybe it has what it takes, and I am sure a lot of people had a great time with it. But why pick the Franchise then? (Maybe it has a huge fanbase, and they counted on the box-sales.) If it's such a Masterpiece, they could have made their own franchise! It would only take a little effort, to be creative with a non-existent nuclear holocaust setting...And if they did their own nuclear-holocaust franchise....Fallout would have probably beaten it, franchise wise...unless Bethesda would have discovered the Alchemists Stone with their own original game, but I doubt that!
Okay so they did improve on the base-material...Give Megamen, or Super Mario, or metal Gear Solid, or Final Fantasy to Bethesda and let them "improve" ( = turn them to TES clones as well) on those games too! Just because they can put each game into "Morrowind" style game play, I wholeheartedly think, that they shouldn't.
I wish too, that Fallout 4 would be a big hit, and a huge success, but the name alone is half the guaranty for that! It's what gives auto-erections to the fans far and wide already!
Seriously though, I can see that, yeah. I don't know how much time I have in 3, since I didn't get it in Steam so no tracking time spent, but New Vegas is pretty high and is only not higher than it is because RL distracted me and I stopped playing before I did EVERYTHING in there. :p
I should get a newer computer, but then again some of my old games might not work on it... Urban Assault already has trouble with multi-core computers; it'd probably completely shit itself on Win7.
