My Poor Bliz - Please Read (It'd mean a lot)
So, some people have probably read my last journal.
Well, here's the full story.
Bliz got into a fight with something, we're not sure if it was one of our other cats, an outside cat, or our dog. But he ended up getting three large cuts up the length of his leg. These three cuts ended up getting infected and swelling. Once this happened, we took him to the vet right away. Yet, all the did was bandage him up and give him meds. After a few more days and the swelling not going down, we continued to call the vet asking when we should being him back and that nothing is working. Finally, we just took him back and they told us they couldn't do anything, it was already to bad, they could only amputate it. After finding out the price and knowing we could afford it, and all of this being cause by this vet not cleaning the wound the first time we took him, he told us to abandoned him at the APL and they would take care of him as much as they could and would find a more loving place for him to live.
Well, we weren't giving up on him. My older sister got word of what was going on and what was said, so she took him in to her vet. We had then found out the infection had got the best of him. He did not have a leg when she took him in. It had ate all of is muscle and the bones were sticking out. Basically, a zombie leg. They had to take the whole leg off and we think they may have taken part of his shoulder as well. Today, we found out the infection was E. coli and is still in his body. But now we have the right meds and he will be okay.
TL;DR: Our cat had an E. Coli infection in his leg. We took him in to one vet that didn't do anything to help him, which caused him to lose a leg. Once we got him to a new vet, they were able to amputate his leg and find what the infection was and get correct meds to stop it.
We are reporting the first vet and hoping something comes from it. Bliz is due back for a check up in a week, but for now is staying at my sister's apartment, for it is a smaller place and he needs to heal and relearn how to walk. We are also starting a Go Fond Me page soon. If you'd like to help, watch me or note me and once it's up, I'll spread the word around.
UPDATE!
Here's the page to go support the baby. Giving money or even spreading the word will help a lot.

Anyway I hope your cat starts doing better and that something gets done about that vet :/
It's like wow he didn't clean a wound.... is he an idiot does he not understand bacteria.
I'm not going to call him a piece of shit I just think he needs to pick a new job profession.
I would say tell people you know that go to him :/

That vet could be taken to court for malpractice IMO. What they essentially did was disregard a potentially life threatening injury and then told you "Well obviously you all don't care about this cat if this is happening so just give it up for someone else."
The lost leg could have been prevented if the vet did their job the first time.
I'm so glad that he is doing okay and I hope that he accumulates well to three legs quickly <3

The whole run is going to be cat and dog based so I'm thinking she's going to have a lot of cat and dog shiny pokemon. But over all, I'm not sure. Once I find out, I will totally give you more information on it.
Just wait for the steam tomorrow.
