Lore of my new species:
- Mercury tongue (Can change from liquid to metal)
- They are soul eaters, grave robbing and inhaling the souls of the dead. But can also have the ability to eat souls of the living by sucking the daylight out of the animal at its weakest. Usually tend to go for Foxes, Horses and Wolves.
- They are Larcenists.
- Weapons include: Mercury tongue, Tusks, Tail that can swing and is heavy as two tonne. (This is where the magic comes in)
- Species called Mortas-Larce.
- Females are larger than males.
- Males have poisonous spores.
- They steal parts of animals from their corpses, but can only attach them with planks of wood and nails. This means they can have whatever Ears and Tail they please.
- They cannot move their Jaws, this is the only part of them that they grew up with, a locked Jaw via a plank of wood and a nail to keep it in place. They were born with no attached bottom jaw, but at the age of two weeks old as pups, their mothers regurgitate their Jaws that she has to create inside of her after having her cubs. Every jaw is different with their teeth. Teeth are the only ways you can fully identify them as they continuously change their appearance with stolen limbs and parts.
- Their spines grow on the outside of them, they have two specific extra bone pieces that wrap around their neck, their spines are used as Armour.
- The spears on their tails (Which like I said earlier, they can change their tails) are scorpion like, by saying that, the spears can move individually.
- They have thicker hind legs for more power behind their run, they also use the thicker hind legs to keep them weighted once they swing their tails as a form of attack.
- Their tusks grow with them. You can identify their age via the tusks.
- They are a mixture of science gone wrong and a little bit of the dead spirits, including a minor part of magic. There was once a man who would collect bones, and make his own “hybrid” of an animal and use them as statues, He was a day away from taking them into the museum, until the cemetery that was next door decided to haunt the skeletons. He made three statues out of the bones he found, therefor the Mortas-Larce’s Praise the three statues as gods or “mothers”. All three statues were Haunted by females.
- The females have their own reproductive system which means they can make their own litter without a male, The males are always seen solo where-as the females go in a pack if they have cubs around, if they have not yet conceived, they can walk alone.
- The mother gives birth to only the skull of her children, she then goes on a journey to steal parts from the dead to recreate her children, the only thing that Is truly hers of the children is the skull and the bottom jaw she regurgitates afterwards for them.
- The reason they regurgitate bottom jaws is because when the Mortas-Larces were young, they will collect bottom jaws from the dead baby animals for mating season, and stock them up in their empty carcass of a body, the amount of jaws they stock in their bodies are the amount of skulls she will be giving birth to.
- They originate from Highgate Cemetery, London, England.
- Their personalities are of a proud world war one soldier, proud of their history, protective, stubborn, somewhat sadistic, caring to only their young but otherwise heartless, Naïve, aggressive, double personalities, Old fashioned, Mysterious.
- They can wail which sounds like an echo, and whine like a wolf in the night. This is their communicating vocals, when threatened they sound deep and growly (This is a perfect example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjrYbzsxs_g)
