USPS has been really weird here too! Theyve been really lazy and not scanning and updating tracking a lot these past few months! Also, Say something is getting delivered in Illinois. For whatever reason, it'll go to a completely different state and then have to be rerouted because they didn't sort packages out correctly. Its been happening to me a lot and I'd give it a little more time before calling the post office. You never know if they just plain forgot to scan it to update the tracking, but I hope this gives you some relief. I'm sure everything is going to be fine tho!

I too live in IL and it said that my package was in a town 20 minutes away from me since the day before. So I figured I would go and pick it up. But I wasn't able to and when I had to go into work at 5pm, the tracking updated, stating that it was at the post office in my town all morning.

It was also 2 day shipping and arrived a day late :/

They have gotten really bad :((

Around Christmas time, I ordered some things on etsy that shipped USPS from Spain. The tracking showed that they had arrived in New York, and there were no updates after that for three weeks. I did eventually receive my stuff (27 days after ordering it), but it was sort of stressful, because I was planning to move out of my apartment at the end of the month, and there was no indication of when the goods would arrive. I'm guessing they were held up in customs or something, since it was an international order.

I'm sure your suit is fine -- the mail is just aggravatingly slow sometimes. Best of luck!

Yeah, USPS did recently mess a package up for me so that I didn't receive it before I went on vacation, when it should've been here well before. It went from Nevada to New York for some reason. Your suit will arrive, it'll just be a surprise

I know each states usps is different. In mine they are really good at scanning the package and mailing it correctly.
Tho a few months ago I had a package that was coming from IL and went completely past TN and down into GA.
only to come back up to TN the next day by saying "rerouted" because they put it on the wrong truck I guess.

I'd give it a few more days before I would call as ask where it is since the tracking hasn't even been updated.
Some people who work there are super lazy at some places. :i which sucks.

mine used to be, then the holidays rolled around last year and then suddenly they went to crap and haven't gone back <:\
yeah sometimes they incorrectly sort things, I've had friends stuff go on the route to other countries before being caught and re routed

unfortunately yeah, it's really nerve wracking that they are ;; luckily my tracking finally updated super early this morning and it's just a few cities over

That ours always starts to go shit when holidays come close by which super sucks.

Thankfully none of my important packages have ever been messed around, but a recent one that got shipped by USPS from California was updating really poorly as soon as it entered my area (it was marked as delivered pretty much a day after it got here), and it also took an unnecessary amount of days to move from the airport one city over to my area. I'm guessing it's just laziness at the hands of my local employees, but that's more of a Canada Post problem than a USPS problem.

Either way, I'm sure it'll turn out fine! People who handle packages are just... less then competent sometimes. :b

ah yeah, USPS has done something like that to me before except I wasn't as worried for they. can't remember exactly what it was just wanting to throw my computer with crappy tracking updates. glad to hear in the end it did get to you :>

It might end up back with MFL and need to be shipped back out, this is why I do 2 day and not standard because they really SUCK at updating. However, it is a lot cheaper than UPS or Fed Ex :/

yeah it is cheaper but if I ever use them again it's definitely going to be priority or higher. and insured, they always deliver insured packages. just man this has been so stressful, having lost mail before I just worry

if you don't get an update for awhile I'd see about calling them, it took about a week to get an update on the tracking of my suit <:0 turns out it was delayed and was finally delivered four days later, today :>

it's just so frustrating ;; I really can't stand standard mail or even priority mail cause they're horrific when it comes to scanning
