finally done...

Before the deluge and rain.
I got the garden planted and set up.
Thank
Fucking
God.
I hope I get good vegtables this year. Alot of time money and effort has gone into prep.
Had to put another almost cubic yard of "materials" in the garden to fill the "void" left by that horrible silica rich yellow clay.

Only 3 years have I not spend many days in the mud, heat and rain to have a nice little garden.
I planted today brussel sprouts, carrots, beets, Red oak leaf lettuce, 3 varieties of tomatoes (including 1kg beefsteaks), and rainbow coloured chard, and 4 kinds of herbs on containers on my parents new deck.
I hope the removal of that nasty yellow clay will actually make a successful garden
they also like to be really dry so do not overwater. (though basil can be troublesome).
Brussel sprouts have to be really babied before they become established. And you sort of have to prune all but the topmost crown. I have grown them before.
and the stems when peeled are incredibly yummy too
