FA Site Ads
Am I the only one that is more than a bit put off by the presence of non-furry banner ads on FA, that have nothing at all to do with the site? This is surely a result of the recent IMVU acquisition. While I understand that I could always use AdBlockPlus (please don't bother me about this), I prefer not to. What gets me is the fact that IMVU seems to be, in some small way, betraying our site by homogenizing it with the rest of the 'normal' Internet. Just my thoughts.
I tried using ad block and that worked for FA, but it keeps my YouTube app from playing videos because it keeps the add from playing and letting me skip when the option is avaliable.
Considering what is on FA, it seems unlikely that there would be too much of a homogenising effect on FA by what ads are shown
If they only knew where their ads were showing up! :-D
But, I guess they need to pay for the server space somehow, so we get stuck with the advertising..
