It was alright. Despite how nice it was actually rooming there this time, overall I was pretty miserable. I missed the only event I kinda cared about--the fursuit parade, and the Marriott fucked up and took money from my friend's debit card when it shouldn't have. They gave us absolutely no warning they'd 'hold' the money, and basically caused my friend to freak out because she wouldn't have had any money for the con. Just wtf. If it wasn't for my grandma being nice enough to lend her $200 in cash her weekend would have been ruined.
Didn't really have the attention span to relax since I had to constantly check my phone for director-related things, didn't have the energy to look up events I wanted to attend really…Nothing really caught my interest so we skipped a lot of potential events due to tiredness. And I kinda wished people who'd say they wanted to have an art jam or something would kinda let me know they arn't up for it anymore so I don't feel kinda stood up haha! Maybe I just didn't come off as a partier or whateves.
On top of that, the con in general just suuuucked. They had soooo many events NOT START ON TIME?? And their credit card machines broke so that made waiting for our badges like an hour longer than it should have been and the ATMs were emptied super fast so apparently a lot of artists were screwed over because people couldn't get cash to buy their merchandise.
BUT..Thanks everyone who said Hi to me and gave me hugs in suit uvu that's kinda the only thing that kinda saved this con for me was the little bits of attention I got. Also going out to eat was a bomb.

I barely got any word of what was actually going on at the con since I was in the den most of the time.
That's such a bummer...
I just got my own fursuit head in April and I'm really looking forward to PAW2015 and FC2016 up ahead. I can't wait to debut my cat character in a fursuit parade.

But this is exactly what I do. lol! Furry con or anime con, especially if I'm dressed up, then I often only hang around the lobby and the headless lounge and hang out with folks. I went to only a couple big panels and the parade, but for the most part it was out in the lobby wandering around that was the most fun for me!
It was fun for me, but yeah, not a lot of events or interesting panels. I mostly hung out in the art lounge. Also why was the hotel so warm the entire time? Sometimes getting out of suit the air in the headless lounge felt warmer than the inside of my head. Was the ac broken or something?
This EXACT thing happened to me at the ALOFT at MFF. They told me that there'd be a hold of a certain amount, plus the hotel room on my card. I'm like sure. I get there, there's the hold, plus the hotel, then a second hold of a huge amount of money they took without warning the second day of the con. :T I wake up, go down to the con, spend a bit of money (like 20 bucks) and then my card gets declined after I tried to buy food. I freak. I had more than enough for food. It took a couple friends spotting me for me to be able to get back HOME. They ended up reversing it, but because they'd taken it out and overdraft me to begin with, and then I tried to use it on top of it being overdraft, I got screwed on fees from my bank and had to use that to cover it. :T
And I'm sorry that it wasn't the best. Honestly, I had a couple friends who were really wanting to hit a bunch of panels and wondered why I wasn't into that and slept in (it's my vacation! Screw getting up early). I'm just all about being there and wandered around the lobby and the con itself for the most part. I only went to floor wars, dance comp, and the parade. lol
