For the sake of the question the fursuit is designed for sex.

It's used in place of sex, ("I want to yiff") and also as an adjective ("I'm yiffy") and in any case is a really pathetic way of saying that you're horny.
Allegedly it's some noise foxes make when they fuck. Anymore and the word (a term I use loosely here) is openly mocked because it's frankly ridiculous.
