My answers for the top 5 list meme... grabbed from several people I'm watching. These things change according to my mood, and aren't really in a specific order.

Swat Kats, because I had a big crush on Mayor Manx.
I'd played Shadowrun on table-top for years. When it came out for Super Nintendo, I was interested, but I didn't have that system at home so I had to watch a friend play it. Didn't seem so fun.
It came out later for Genesis... completely different game, but with the same setting. I had a Genesis at home, so I snatched it up right away. I've finished the game dozens of times, both on the console and running emulators on my computer.
